Students in the film industry who have made a bachelor course (bac+3) at ESAV are able to design, format, shoot, illuminate and calibrate for the shooting of reports, portraits, news magazines, documentaries, advertising and fiction films. They can be assistants in film projects. They have attended courses and workshops that enable them to understand the stakes of meaning, aesthetics, the importance of team relations, respect for other filmmaking professions, and have acquired notions of adequacy between the economics of the project and its realization.
Students in the image sector who have completed a master course (bac+5), in addition to having acquired the skills described above bachelor (bac+3) have perfected them and are able to take part in a more ambitious film project. Their knowledge of cinematographic writing, cutting-out (with a view to possible editing and a rhythm thought about filming), their learning of optics, movement, electrical techniques, machinery, post-production (building, calibration) is more complete. They gained more teamwork experience. Without claiming to be the direct head of a project at the end of the school (photo director), these students will be able to quickly progress to a position of responsibility.
